Forecast for Tonight - 4 p.m to 4 a.m PST:

Clear skies this evening, then some high clouds will move in overnight. 

Outflow winds will develop through the north coast inlets in the evening.

The high pressure centre in the Northwest Territories will move south overnight. This will bring the arctic airmass to the North Rockies and Cariboo Mountains. 

Light to moderate northwesterly ridgetop winds.

The weak system will spread light flurries tonight.

Temperature rising to near -10 C overnight.

Forecast for Saturday - 4 a.m to 4 p.m PST:

More clouds on the north coast than on the south coast. 

Outflow winds through the coastal inlets will weaken later Saturday. 

Flurries over the Purcells will taper off on Saturday. A mix of sun and cloud for other interior regions. 

Alpine temperatures are between minus 20 to minus 15 degrees. 

The system will depart with flurries ending in the afternoon.

On Sunday, a few flurries are likely over the interior regions as a shortwave quickly passes through in northwesterly flow. 

A weak upper trough may bring light snow to Northwest North on Monday. 

Ridge rebuilds on Sunday bringing mainly clear skies again.

Another system approaching Sunday night will spread clouds and light snow to the region through Monday.

Alpine winds will become moderate to strong southerly Sunday night.
